Seafarer Unit 107 Oceanview

This place is under pool management. Switch to new unit at last minutes with no update. Unit condition was very base level, nothing fancy at all. Master room none of lights were working, left dark for whole night. Broken deck door handle and kitchen cabinet handle as well. Shower was extremely small with the tiniest water flows. We have 5 adults, only two toilet paper and two tiny soap tubes supply, owner refused to refill, we must buy own. However the mean policy, showed after we booked, otherwise we would not book it. You have to take out trash, but there was no extra bags, need to let them to bring it. The place is clean though.

Shu, I'm sorry the place didn't live up to expectations. While I am glad you found the place to be clean, I wish the incredible efforts we made to make your stay comfortable would have resulted in a more positive experience overall. We made multiple trips out to the condo to bring you extra supplies that were explicitly not normally provided, per the listing. We also had maintenance out to replace the one burnt out bulb the same day you brought it to our attention. The balcony door handle was removed on purpose because (as stated in the listing) the balcony is closed for repairs (there are also signs on the door itself to remind you of this). Nevertheless, we have gone back through the unit and made sure it is in top shape for future guests. Thanks for staying with us.

Everything was perfect besides the balcony being closed. We were accommodated for this issue though. Would definitely stay again!!

Absolutely not worth the money. Balcony is closed because it's unsafe. The floor in the living room slants towards the balcony that is condemned. There was hair on the linens and towels. A hole in the wall. Large stain on comforter and puke in the corner of the bed. The place was gross.

Hello Sarah! Thanks for taking the time to leave a review of the condo! We take your concerns very seriously and consulted our inspection pictures and chat history to address your comments. We performed a very thorough inspection before and following your checkout and found no holes in walls and no "puke on the bed". We did offer to have the cleaners come back to address the situation you claimed, to which you declined and instead noted that the "floor is slanted" and the decor/furniture isn't what you expected/would have chosen. Cleanliness is a top priority of ours, and our system of having both a cleaner and a property inspector take pictures of the unit prior to the stay helps greatly with preventing cleanliness issues. Nevertheless, if something slips through the cracks, we are always happy to send our cleaners back out. Our hands are tied, however, when you decline that offer. What you say regarding the balcony being closed is true, but as of the time of this stay/review, is reflected in the listing. We are very hopeful that repairs will be completed soon.

Really great stay!! Came with a group of six and we fit perfect, super quiet and just what we were looking for to relax. Quick walk to the beach and we got to hang out in the pool for a few hours both days. Steven was fast to respond each time I had a question and made sure to fix any issue with the room prior to our arrival. Our group came with more cars than the parking allowed but we were about to get free street parking about 3/4 minutes drive from the apartment so it worked out. We utilize the full kitchen and we’re able to wash our clothes before we packed up. The only disappointment was that’s the balcony was closed off for reconstruction and we’re morning coffee drinkers that like to be outside, but the entrance was enough space for my family to put out their chairs and sit in the front of the apartment in the morning. Thank you for a great stay and hope to come back soon!!

We had a family reason/need for a trip to N Myrtle Beach for Mother's Day. The space was perfect for our quick trip. Very easy to check in and very close beach access. The host was very responsive and accurate with all the details. Very helpful with questions and recommendations. Will definitely stay again.

Had an amazing last minute weekend getaway. Condo was as pictured/described and very clean. Steven was very friendly and responsive throughout our stay, which made getting an Airbnb for the first time a smooth process. Very please with the accommodations.

This is a nice place, we stayed for 11 days and would stay here again. There were no surprises, everything was as documented in the listing. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. Communication with the hosts was excellent and they responded to questions very quickly. We enjoyed walking on the beach and driving around the touristy areas. There are almost an infinite number of restaurants and shops nearby. If fast, reliable Wifi is a must for you then you might consider bringing your own internet connection solution. The Wifi here is provided by the building HOA and maintained by an IT company so our Airbnb hosts couldn’t really do anything about it. When we first got here the recommended network was unusable at less than 0.1 Mbps. But after 2 calls to the IT company it was reliable at about 5 Mbps download speed which is fast enough for us since we mostly just do email and light browsing. I used my cellular as a mobile hot spot when I wanted faster.

The hosts were always super responsive and the location in Windy Hill is close to everything! Unit was really nice and well kept, our boys enjoyed the bunk room and the balcony area was super spacious and in view of the ocean. Great stay for our quick getaway!

The condo is in a quiet area, away from any crowds, is well organized and clean. The kitchen is a good size, the bedrooms are on the small side, but beds were comfy, and one of them has two bunk beds which is great for groups. The host provided a few good recommendations for restaurants nearby. The condo is on the 1st floor with a flight of stairs and no elevator- which is good to note in case there is someone in your family who needs alternative accessibility. During our stay, the shower in the main guest room was not able to be regulated to cool or cold- it went from cool to hot and stayed hot, but this was flagged so they could fix it. The wifi was spotty and we had a bit of a challenge connecting every time we came back into the condo- this is good to note in case you don't have a local data plan. We also flagged this to be looked into. Otherwise, it was a nice quick little weekend stay.
