Sand Dunes Resort Unit 1041 Oceanfront

This Airbnb is so cute! Right at the beach! Ocean view at its best! My younger daughter and I stayed here for 6 days. It was the perfect amount of space. It matches all pictures. We had mostly everything we needed, but no salt, pepper, sugar, usable pots and pans. There’s some silverware, but no utensils to cook with. I had to buy a small frying pan to cook my breakfast with. There were some stains on blankets, sand on the floors, dust, drawers were not clean. It needs a deep clean, which I did message the host and they were great. I would recommend a couple of extra blankets to be in the closet with the extra pillows. The ac worked great. The one downside that really bothered us the entire time was the very strong pungent smell coming from the washer/dryer combo machine. It’s right by the entry and you can smell it as you walk in or by the machine! It was convenient to have it in room. It did not make our clothes stink. With a better cleaning being done I would stay here again!

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay here! The check-in process was very smooth and the room was perfect for just the two of us. We loved the ocean view and even got recommendations on places to eat, things to do, etc. The ocean view was beautiful and the room looked exactly like the pictures. Steven was very responsive as well and always available. We were never bored as the resort had lots to offer from live music, karaoke, eateries, games, etc. We would definitely come back!

Let me first say Steven and the other hosts were too knotch! They were super responsive and went the extra mile to provide local restaurant recommendations and check in daily. This was a last minute trip and I quickly booked without doing a ton of research. Most of my qualms have little to do with the hosts or room itself, but with the actual resort/hotel. The view was AMAZING from our balcony, too and literal steps from beach. I traveled to Myrtle Beach with my husband and almost two year old and I’m 6 months pregnant. We smelled marijuana throughout the resort the entire time- even on our balcony and at the pool. That was a little disheartening being I had my young child- again not the hosts fault. The entire resort is older and the room reflects such, BUT was super clean and had everything as listed. The washer/dryer combo was a plus. It met our needs for a quick weekend, but not sure we would stay for an extended period. Overall, it was a good place to stay. Maybe it were just us.

We flew down to Myrtle Beach from New York to look at Real Estate. On my list for a place to stay was convenience to the airport, central location along the coast, easy parking, relaxing ambiance, with a bed that had a view of the ocean where we could hear the waves at night, and reasonably priced. Steven’s place was perfect! The keyless entry was great as we were tired from the flight and were able to get in without any issues. The room looked just like the photos and was clean and cool. Steven was always incredibly quick to respond and very helpful. He’s a “super host” for a reason! Highly recommend 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have stayed in this area many times and this location is great and the view was breathtaking. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to your needs. There are many things to do on the resort site for families if you don't want to leave the resort. It is central to everything fun to do in Myrtle Beach. I will definitely stay here again. The host was attentive and responds quickly with any need you have. This is a great place to stay if you are looking for peace and serenity outside your balcony door!

spectacular view from the room. no joke, but saw a LOT of dolphins!! wish I had binoculars! love the location, anything we wanted to go to were within 10mins away. this place loses a star cause the TV doesn't really work, AC is either too cold or too hot. I might have gotten sick because of the AC. Zero condiments in the kitchenette - No salt, pepper, sugar, water bottles. Would appreciate some basic items.

I decided last minute to take a solo road trip and I could not have chosen a better place! You really can’t beat the price, proximity to the beach, and all the attractions and amenities located in the complex. I will definitely be back!
