Raintree Villa Unit A1 Oceanfront

This beach condo was absolutely perfect for our winter vacation! The location was unbeatable, just steps from the ocean, with awesome views of beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the screened-in oceanfront balcony. It had everything you needed, whether for a week or a month, and the owners were amazing and very responsive when needed. We can't say enough on how wonderful the hosts were!!! The Cherry Grove Beach area is perfect for a quiet, relaxing time but close enough to Myrtle Beach to enjoy all it offers. Perfect for small families, retired couples, newlyweds, to a person who is alone. Only have one small con -- The unit was clean on the surface but needed a good scrubbing in some areas that can not be seen, but a quick sweep and wipe out and we were ready to go. With that said, we will definitely be back - in the winter of 2026!!!

Our family had the perfect vacation here. The listing is exactly as described- clean, comfortable, cozy and had everything we needed. Steven was great at communicating and had an easy helpful guide. He even sent recommendations on local restaurants that came right when we needed it. It’s easy walking distance to the beach. The beaches were beautiful and not overly crowded, even on July 4th week. The pool was refreshing. My kids loved all the close by activities. We had a relaxing and fun time together. We definitely plan to come back.

We had a great time. Weather was beautiful so we spent a lot of time on the porch, which was wonderful. Furnishings were good. We didn’t cook much but the kitchen seemed to have everything we needed. The coffee pot worked well and that was the most important thing for us.

This is a “WOW” place to stay. When you walk in the door one feels right at home. Everything is in place for your stay. Very clean and comfortable. Very well maintained and decorated. Very peaceful and pleasant surroundings. Right on the beach with ease of access. One walks out the door and is on the beach in less than 40 seconds. Everything one can imagine is available in this property. Simply put this is a beautiful place and our hosts completely communicated with us every single step of the way. What more can we say. This is our second visit and we will continue to have many more.

Overall, the apartment was quaint with some minor nuances. For example, the sound proofing was limited, we could hear every move the upstairs neighbors made. Not Steven’s fault, of course, but would make note of it in case someone is at the unit to relax. We also did have an issue with the master bathroom shower, Steven and his colleagues were very responsive in trying to resolve the situation. Unfortunately, they were unable to do so which left us with one shower. Luckily, there was a second bathroom with a working shower otherwise it would have been an issue. Steven did mention providing some form of a reimbursement to us for the lack of shower, but we never heard back or received a response on my inquiry in my last message to him. Lastly, the unit location isn’t very close to anything major and does require a vehicle, certainly not walkable to a local pub.

The condo is lovely. Looks just like the pictures and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The view is the absolute jewel of this space. The proximity to the beach is wonderful and you can hear the waves through the open balcony doors. We’d love to come back in late summer or early fall to enjoy the pool and swim in the ocean.

Had a Great Stay Location is great and you walk right out onto the Beach. Close to restaurants and shopping. Nice and Quiet we were able to just sit on the porch and have a drink and relax listening to the ocean we were very satisfied with our stay. Host was very informative with Check in and Suggestions on places to go and check out it was a very smooth Stay.

We actually hate to leave a review for this undiscovered gem so we can book it again. This property is an amazing location. You walk out the door and you’ll be on the beach within 30 seconds. The view from the balcony is amazing and spectacular. The balcony is completely screened in so no worries about insects invading your space. Although we did not notice very many at all. This property is very well maintained and decorated. The furnishings are impeccable and one feels at home when you walk in the door. The master bedroom has its own bathroom and private sliding glass doors to the balcony the room is very comfortable and well decorated. The second bedroom is also very comfortable and very well decorated with access from both the master bedroom to the second bathroom. It also has a wonderful library space. Certainly very relaxing and comfortable. The kitchen is completely well stocked with any piece of cooking equipment you might ever need. High end appliances.

We have been coming to Cherry Grove for years- this was the first time with my grandson who is 20 months old. We had the best time! The location was absolutely perfect - we were able to walk back and forth from the beach - the screened in porch was an added bonus with a little person running around! Thank you Clayton and Steve for making this an easy vacation and I appreciate your quick responses. and your detailed instructions for check in and check out. We will be back!!

The place was just as described. Clean and bright. All the amenities of home! Everything was available in the home. All kitchen utensils and supplies. Each room had its ceiling fan, temperature controlled and tvs with lots of channels. Plenty of beach chairs and toys for children. The location was perfect! You can see and hear the waves from the screened in porch! The area was very peaceful at night. The hosts were very quick to respond and made good local suggestions. The house was perfect for a family vacation!! Above and beyond our expectations!

We really enjoyed the location of the condo, it was so easy and accessible to get to the beach and the rest of North Myrtle! We loved Melt Ice Cream. The view was gorgeous (a friendly suggestion would be to update the chairs to counter height so it’s easier to see the beach for us short folks, the screened in porch is not as transparent as in the picture, just a note). Plenty of chairs, 2 umbrellas and sand toys were available and made it less for us to pack in the car! Bring a beach cart if you’re like us and need to bring a ton of stuff to the beach because of the kiddos. Kitchen had plenty of silverware, dishes and items available to use (cleaning supplies, dishwasher soap, etc). Pool was nice, clean and outdoor faucets were helpful to clean off sand. The grill outside (not in this listing) was gross and grimy, would recommend planning for meals that do not include grilling. The hosts were very accommodating and accessible. Thank you

Such a well-cared for unit! Super easy walk to the beach. Hosts were not only super friendly and quick to respond to us, the home was so well-stocked! We found a beach umbrella, chairs , and even sand toys for our grandkids! Books to read, movies to watch….they thought of everything! Made for a GREAT vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo! The unit was exactly as described but the pictures did not do the view justice! Our entire family enjoyed sitting on the porch, feeling the ocean breeze and watching the waves. With small children the location could not have been better, it was so easy to come and go from the beach as we needed. The pool was clean, the parking was easy, and entry was a breeze. So many positives for this unit! Steven and Clayton were wonderful hosts who were thorough and accommodating throughout the entire process. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

A beautiful view with a very responsive host. If looking for an oceanfront location at Cherry Grove, there is no better place to stay. The screened in porch is perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach, which is steps away. Parking is plentiful and the place is spacious and clean. Definitely consider staying here!

Great place, very clean and great communication from the hosts. They replied to me within minutes every time. We loved being so close to the beach and we had everything we needed. Two recommendations would be for thicker pillows and a new shower head for the master bath shower. We would stay here again!

My stay was so enjoyable with all the accommodations of home. I particularly enjoyed being able to open the sliding glass door from the bedroom to listen to the ocean at night. My only suggestion would be a knife large enough to cut a watermelon or cantaloupe with ease made available. Aside from that I was throughly pleased with the rental. I will definitely book this location again.

My husband and I needed to get out of the cold, rainy gloom of Ohio and decided to look into North Myrtle Beach. We found this gem in Cherry Grove Beach. Steps away from the beach…. first floor, easy accessibility versus having to go in a high-rise and wait on elevators. It was very cute and clean and had an amazing screened in porch. The hosts are extremely nice and accessible and they offered us ideas for dining and fun activities! There are many fun restaurants shops & activities within just miles. We really enjoyed the people we met in Cherry Grove Beach. They’re super nice and a lot of fun! We would completely stay there again.
