Ocean Reef Resort Unit 408 Oceanfront

Steven was very responsive and friendly. He provided clear directions on how to get to the unit, check out instructions, and even recommended local restaurants and shops to check out. We loved the location, with views of the ocean and close to lots of amenities. Ocean reef had a very affordable breakfast buffet, and a pool and hot tub for guests. Enough towels were provided, and even beach chairs at our unit! We can't wait to go back, especially for the price!

It was nothing short of staying in normal ocean reef room. Pictures made it look way nicer. Floor was full of sand, only one light in rm because lights over table has no bulbs. I could have stayed in king bed suite room at ocean reef for 200 more dollars. Ironing board was broke. For 1,500.00 rm could be nice like pictures.

Steven's place has a great view of the ocean, and that's the main thing I was after. It's also a nice location for getting onto King's Highway to go to Myrtle. It's basically a hotel room in a Resort hotel. Parking was easy. We ate twice at Bimini's. Calabash shrimp was very fresh and the hushpuppies were outstanding. You have a lot of eating options around you. We didn't hear noise from neighbors at all, but our last night the smell of weed from our neighbor was overwhelming (smell gives me headaches). Went to resort security. They were very helpful. After their second visit to that room we quit smelling anything. We learned a third visit gets you kicked out. Good to know that not only Steven but the resort is responsive.

This is a Beautiful Beautiful place to stay!!!!! Did I mention how beautiful the view was. I loved the atmosphere. Everything was nearby. I ate all you can eat breakfast right downstairs for $15. Pool, jacuzzi, and beach right downstairs. The only thing I was disappointed about is that the beds had sand in them upon arrival and I hadn’t slept in the beds yet. When told owner he was responsive but he wanted me to send a picture but by the time I seen he responded I already shook the sand out. I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it. I would also recommend putting a broom in the room so that sand can be swept up. Other than that I had a great 5 night stay and would definitely do it again. Thank you.

My only complaint and this is absolutely no fault of the owner. The person renting the room next to smoked weed from the time they got up until the time they went to sleep everyday. Unfortunately the smell came through the door. I felt like I was at a Snoop Dog concert every day.

This was a great weekend for my family & I . We really enjoyed our time. I will say the room needs an update for sure ; but overall clean and beds were very clean which it’s important. We really enjoyed the time in the resort so much to do and the view was perfect. Steven was extremely responsive and reached out and was very proactive with instructions and giving recommendations to where to go. My kids loved it, we had a great time and they did not want to leave. I would recommend and definitely come back.
