The visit to Cherry Grove was a peaceful, relaxing visit. Our host, Steven communicated consistently and answered any questions almost immediately. There is a beautiful little pool area along with bikes and beach toys which guests have complete use of as needed. The home's photos really don't do it justice. Everything is updated, clean with all the amenities one needs for a weekend, or a few weeks stay. Another thing that we enjoyed was that it was literally a few minutes' walk to the grocery store, beach and several restaurants. To top it off, the neighbor was kind and offered to help in any way without being invasive. I would definitely stay again and look forward to booking another visit through our kind host Steven.

We've stayed here several times and love the location to grocery, restaurants & fun activities. We've enjoyed the beach, Murphy's bar, cycling, parasailing, Tailwater Gril, Dairy Hut, and we used the pool daily.

A Shore Thing was very close to the beach and very convenient to everything. Close to shops and stores. Loved playing with our foster children in the pool and eating good food with family & friends. Could not be better.

"A Shore Thing"! The pool was used every day - so convenient! We walked to the beach most evenings to discover new shells & treasures. We had a family of 7 and we all had a wonderful time, and enjoyed the house. We usually stay in Myrtle Beach, but love the quieter area up here so much more. Some of our favorite things: Mission BBQ on Route 17, playing with my nephews in the pool, great mini golf on Route 17, Dairy Hut around the corner was great, and Boulineau's was a must for a quick hot delicious meal.

We love this place & hope to come more often! A very comfortable house with a private backyard & only one block from the ocean. Plus, there are so many good places to eat & a myriad of things to do. A few favorites: Boulineau's, walking the beach (so close!), mini golf, biking, ice cream around the corner, relaxing by the pool. Best of all - spending time with family.

The location was great. It was truly a very short walk to the beach, Boulineau's amazing grocery store, ice cream shops, and several beach/gift shops. The house was just as it appeared in the photos and we had plenty of room. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the ability to do laundry during our stay. Our kids loved the pool, and we spent a lot of time relaxing in the backyard as they swam. The beach cruiser bikes were a huge hit for the entire family as it allowed us to explore the area without having to pile into the car. The shed was full of beach chairs and toys that made our beach days fun and relaxing. The house had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at A Shore Thing during our spring break. The location is top notch and it truly is 230 steps away from the beach. The area was family friendly and quiet and we enjoyed the stores, activities, and restaurants that were very comfortably within walking distance. The space that the house provided was just right for our family of 4, however it could comfortably fit more guests too. The house had plenty of dishes and cookware for the meals we chose to make. We loved the beach, and we loved the pool, wherever there was sun and a breeze we were happy. The amenities that the owners provided demonstrate they believe in fun, exploration, and relaxation. We really appreciated the beach chairs and wagon for our beach days, the bikes for our “let’s go check things out” days, and the games for our “let’s play” moments. We would definitely come here again and again and again.

" A Shore Thing" was beautiful, clean and a perfect location. It was mostly a solo trip for me so Iwas able to walk to the beach, grocery store, and the local beach bar/restaurant. Everything I needed was provided and having a pool to yourself was just an added plus! Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

'A Shore Thing' was perfect! The place was clean and just as advertised! The beach was indeed just 230 steps from the front door (they provided beach chairs and a wagon to take to the beach)and the pool in the backyard was a great alternative for our kids. We are a family of 6 and sometimes it's hard to find the right place for us to stay and feel like we all have our own space. This was not a problem, having the 3 rooms and the option of the pull-out couch was just what we needed. The owners checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed! Having laundry facilities on site made traveling light easy(saved us money on our flights)! We grilled out and the kitchen had everything we needed. Being walking distance to the local IGA made it we could cook our own meals and enjoy some great family time! We will definitely be booking again!

My family and I (group of 9) enjoyed our stay at A Shore Thing. Everything about the house was great! We loved the large size of the kitchen which made cooking a breeze. My kids really enjoyed having our own private pool. The location was close to many restaurants, stores, and our favorite, Boulineau’s. The best part of this house though was the proximity to the beach! It was a very easy walk and took no time to get there! We would definitely stay at this location again and look forward to another trip there soon!
